R3B / Who we are
An evolution of the historical collaborative platform Rebiennale,
R3B is a society of highly skilled and professional craftsmen, enabled to intervene in each phase of the assembling and dismantling of artistic-architectural installations within all types of exhibition spaces.
“We were born to fight against all this waste and change into resources and projects what to others would be useless garbage.”
In the dismantling of exhibitions, padillions and events our team’s intervention is aimed at the safeguard of the materials employed, thus safekeeping their life cycle from the rubbish dump so they can be reused, consequently avoiding both the senseless production of thousands square meters of waste; and the huge expense derived from its disposal.

Thanks to our highly qualified staff , sanctioned to operate an impressive fleet of machines, R3B is able to step into logistically complex situations at 360°, from design to construction. Be it cultural events, fairs, private or social projects, our team can intervene with creativity and the utmost precision, using only 100% recycled materials.
Our work is always carried out in complete and utter safety, which to us is decisively a priority, and in full compliance with the times and financial quotes prearranged.
Because profit is not our ultimate goal.

RE-USE
An accurate dismantling can bring down the magnitude and expenses of waste disposal, while also helping to safeguard the construction materials. Our team operates daily with a focus on this process. Those preserved materials are then stocked in our warehouse and made available for second-life cycles.
hroughout the years countless projects like this have been devised with the participation of cultural institutions such as the famous “La Biennale” itself, the IUAV University, other non-profit associations and committees or just private citizens.
RECYCLE
Even in the event where it wasn’t possible to reuse some of the materials, or to foresee viable second-life cycles, our team is trained to find sustainable solutions which are aimed to avoid waste disposal (such as landfills or waste incineration). In the past years we have worked to build and solidify our relationships with the most influential local businesses in the field of recycling of construction materials that cannot be repurposed directly, particularly plastic and drywall-like materials.
A primary example of this is the work of the Dorte mandrup (link) studio at the corderie dell’Arsenale during the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale, when over 200 cubic meters of expanded polystyrene considered waste were cleaned and regenerated thanks to the collaboration with the company Politop S.R.L. of Treviso.
REBUILD
The chance of saving on dismantling along with the possibility of experimenting with the reuse of personal works- as well as of personal ideas- has tickled the curiosity of curators and professionals, allowing the realization of several social projects of self-building, both -but not exclusively- public and non-profit. Thanks to the valuable input of our citizens, volunteer associations and financial workers of the area, everyone is able to come together and share their knowledge and skills, for the betterment of the city.
A chance for the curators to extend the life of their installations and reduce the amount of waste produced, whilst saving on the relative expenses of said waste’s disposal. It is possible to take part in the project by declaring one’s availability to donate the materials from the very early stages of the exhibition thus opening a Social Call among public subjects, and non-profit ones.
This strategy was developed throughout the years to achieve a more sustainable life cycle, to eliminate stocking and half the transportation costs: at the end of the exhibition the materials reach directly the site of second-life, where they are then reinvented through self-build techniques .
